Protimeter Moisture Meters

Protimeter kits are bought by the survey they have to support. A flooring inspection, a pre-purchase building report and a Category 3 drying job all need different combinations of pin, pinless and relative humidity measurement — and the kit numbers exist to match them.

How to choose

Pin, pinless or both. SurveyMaster covers both modes in one body. HygroMaster is the relative humidity instrument. TimberMaster is pins only. A general survey usually wants both modes; a flooring specialist usually wants RH.

The kit number is the contents. BLD7750 through BLD7759 differ by what is in the case — extension lead, humidity box, hygrostick. Order the kit that includes what you would otherwise buy separately within a month.

Data loggers change what you can prove. A 20-pack of BLE loggers records conditions across a site over days. On a disputed drying job, a logged record outranks a spot reading taken on the day.

Thermoformed cases survive vehicles. The kits that include one cost more and last longer than a soft pouch in a ute.
