Fitting
- Remove the 9 V battery before you start.
- Photograph the probe and any wiring before you take anything apart, so it goes back the same way.
- Use the parts breakdown to identify the handle screws, remove the old handle and fit the new one. Make sure no wire is pinched as the handle closes up.
- Fit the battery and test the probe on a known wet and a known dry area before using it on a job.
