Why clear sheeting
Opaque containment turns a room into a box. Clear sheeting lets light through, lets occupants and other trades see what is happening, and lets your technicians see out — which matters for safety when equipment is running and cables are on the floor.
It also reads better to a customer. A translucent barrier looks like a controlled work area; black plastic looks like something is being hidden.
Choosing the weight
At 100 micron this is the heavier of the two we stock. It handles better in a draught, resists tearing at the pole plates, and survives being taken down and rehung. On a job running over several days, or where a barrier is under negative pressure and pulling hard, the heavier sheet is the one.
The lighter option is the 80 micron sheet in 10 m x 4 m.
Long roll, less waste
A 100 m roll at 2 m wide suits an operator building containment regularly — cut to the opening rather than trimming a pre-sized sheet and binning the offcut.
