Why coil cleaning matters commercially
A fouled coil restricts airflow and insulates the heat exchange surface, so the system works harder for less output and its running cost climbs. On a commercial site that shows up on the power bill long before anyone reports a comfort problem.
Use the right chemistry on the right coil
Coil cleaners are formulated acidic or alkaline for different deposits and different coil metals. Using the wrong one etches aluminium fin. Read the label and the safety data sheet, and rinse thoroughly — residue left on a coil corrodes it between services.
Protect what is behind the coil
