Salt solution test kit for checking humidity sensor accuracy at 75 per cent
A sealed bottle in which a saturated salt solution holds the air at a known relative humidity, for verifying a sensor at the upper end of the range.
Fitment
- Checks the RH/T-S1 ambient sensor
- Checks the RH/T-S3 in-situ sensor

The high end is where it matters
Most of the readings that decide something — a slab that is too wet for flooring, a structure that is not yet dry, a cavity still holding water — sit at the upper end of the humidity range. A sensor checked only at 33 per cent has not been checked where the decisions are made. Use this with the RH/TK/33 kit to see the sensor at both ends.
Frequently asked questions
Which kit should I buy first?
If you are buying one, buy this one — it checks the sensor where your critical readings sit. Buy both if the readings go into reports.
Does this calibrate the sensor?
No, it verifies it. A sensor that fails needs replacing or returning to Delmhorst.
