Delmhorst 2-E/SPLIT Coax Cable Electrode with Alligator Clips

Regular price $333.05

Split coaxial lead with alligator clips

A coaxial electrode lead terminated in a pair of alligator clips instead of a fixed pin head, so a Delmhorst resistance meter can be connected to something other than a standard electrode.

What it is for

Two uses in practice. Connecting to fixed or embedded sensors already installed in a structure, and connecting to a purpose-made probe when nothing in the standard range suits the material or the access. It turns the meter into a resistance instrument you can attach to whatever you need to measure across.

Readings taken this way are comparative. The meter’s wood scales assume a known pin geometry and spacing; change those and the number on the screen is no longer a calibrated moisture content. Use it to compare a suspect area against a dry reference, not to certify an absolute figure.

Fitment

  • Connects to any Delmhorst meter with an external electrode socket

Fitment detail not yet confirmed

Delmhorst does not publish a specification sheet for this lead in its online catalogue. We have not been able to verify the cable length or the clip rating and we are not going to state figures we cannot support. We have asked Delmhorst for the detail.

If you are setting up monitoring with embedded sensors, tell us what you are connecting to and we will work through it with you before you order.
