Metering tip kit for the Hydro-Force AS08 high-pressure sprayer
Now your Hydro-Force Sprayer is more versatile than ever. Dilute concentrated chemicals automatically at any of eight standard dilution ratios. Simply insert a new colour-coded metering tip to change your dilution. NOTE: The standard dilution ratio for the High-Pressure HydroForce is 1:8 as it comes from the factory. The Low-Pressure Hydro-Force has a standard dilution ratio of 1:4.
What a metering tip does
A Hydro-Force sprayer draws concentrate into the water stream and the metering tip sets how much. Change the tip and you change the dilution ratio, without measuring anything or mixing a batch.
Eight standard ratios means the operator can move from a light prespray to a heavy traffic-lane treatment by swapping one part, and go back again for the next room.
Why this beats mixing by hand
Hand-mixed batches drift. A technician under time pressure guesses, and the guess is almost always toward more chemical rather than less. Over-application is the root of most residue complaints, most rapid re-soiling, and most of the "it looked great until it dried" calls.
A fixed metering tip gives you the same dilution on every job, which is also what makes a result repeatable when you are training someone.
Check the ratio against the label
The dilution on the product label is the manufacturer’s tested rate. Match the tip to it rather than to habit, and remember that a sprayer meters against water pressure — if your supply pressure changes, verify the draw rather than assume it.
