Product Overview

The formed bottle cap for Hydro-Force injection sprayers. This is the cap the injector assembly mounts through, with the draw tube passing down into the concentrate.

Important — There Are Three Different Caps

This range has three caps that look similar on a parts list and are not interchangeable:

• NA0812 — this part. The sprayer's own cap, which the injector mounts through.
• A plain storage cap — for sealing a spare jug of concentrate for transport. It has no opening for the draw tube.
• The side-fill port cap — fitted to the 5 Quart Side Fill Bottle (AS68A), with its own tether (Side Fill Bottle Strap (AS69A)).

Ordering the wrong one is a common mistake. If you are replacing a cap, tell us which bottle it came off.

Is the sealing liner included?

The manufacturer lists the cap liner as a separate part number and does not state whether it ships with the cap. Contact us before ordering if you need both.

My sprayer draws air. Is the cap the problem?

It can be. If the cap or its liner is not sealing, the injector pulls air instead of concentrate and dilution goes lean and inconsistent.

Will it fit any 5 quart bottle?

It is made for the Hydro-Force bottles. We would not assume it seals on a third-party jug.

Can I use it as a storage cap?

Not sensibly — it has an opening for the draw tube. Use a plain cap for storing concentrate.

What We See in the Field

A cap that doesn't seal properly can upset chemical draw and lets concentrate leak around in the van. Check the liner, side port and threads before assuming the injector has failed, and don't keep tightening a distorted cap harder — replace the damaged sealing part.
