The back-up washer for the Hydro-Force injection sprayer's injector valve. It sits immediately behind the Water Nozzle with O-Ring (NA0808) in the valve body.
When to Replace It
This is a seating component rather than a wearing one, and it is rarely replaced on its own. The usual reason to buy it is that the water nozzle is being replaced and the washer behind it has been disturbed, distorted or lost.
If you are opening the valve far enough to reach the nozzle, it is cheap insurance to have this on the bench at the same time rather than reassembling onto a washer that has taken a set.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need it if I am replacing the water nozzle?
Not necessarily, but it is the sensible time to do it. Reusing a distorted washer is a slow leak waiting to happen.

What goes wrong if it is missing?
The nozzle will not seat correctly, which loses the pressure drop the injector depends on.
