GreenGlides

GreenGlides are specified by the wand they fit, not by the size printed on the wand. That distinction is the reason glides are the most mis-ordered item in the trade, and the reason this range lists lip width and production year on the product page rather than leaving it to be discovered on arrival.

The range covers most of the wands running in Australia, in slotted and holed patterns, in internal and external fit.

It includes Westpak 12 inch titanium 4-jet post-2015 and the pre-2015 private-labelled Sapphire pattern, Westpak 14 inch LP3 internal fit, and internal-fit versions of both 12 inch Westpak patterns; Prochem TI 13.5 inch in 1.3 cm and 1.7 cm fits and the Quad Jet 11 inch pre-2015; CMP PowerClean 12 inch slotted and 14 inch low profile slotted; the PMF Mach 12 titanium 2-jet; Damweld 12 inch holed; and the AW29 12 inch 2-jet in two separate lip widths.

How to choose

Measure the lip width before you order the AW29 glide. This range carries two: one for a lip width under 16 mm, and one for over 17 mm. They are not interchangeable, and the wand's model name will not tell you which you have. Measure it.

Production year changes the pattern. Westpak pre-2015 and post-2015 differ, as do the two Prochem TI fits. Reordering from an old invoice is how the wrong one arrives.

Internal fit seats inside the head; external clamps around it. The same wand size appears twice in this range for exactly that reason.

Slotted or holed changes the airflow. A slot keeps the vacuum path continuous; holes break it into segments. They clean differently and are not substitutes.

If in doubt, ask before ordering. A glide is not a cheap item to get wrong, and lip width is a thirty-second measurement.
