The Dri-Eaz HVE 3000 Flood Pumper is a portable, high-volume flood extractor. High vacuum and powerful lift pull maximum water from carpet and pad fast, while a clog-resistant, high-volume industrial pump-out delivers up to 190 litres per minute.
A narrow profile and large rear wheels make transport easy. The unit can also be used with a truckmount to boost vacuum or intercept extracted water to keep the truckmount tank from filling up.
CCW supplies the 230 V / 50 Hz version (CCW SKU F479-230V) for Australian power. Read the electrical note below before planning power on site.

Three Ways to Use It
Stand-alone flood extraction
Connect your wand or extraction tool to the 2 in. inlet and run one or both vacuum blowers. The pump-out empties the tank to a drain as you work, so extraction does not stop every time the tank fills. Dri-Eaz lists continuous operation with vacuum pause and auto-restart.
Truckmount vacuum booster
Run the HVE 3000 in line with a truckmount to add vacuum on long hose runs, such as upper floors or large commercial losses.
Truckmount waste-tank bypass
Intercept the extracted water before it reaches the truckmount and pump it straight to drain. On black water floods this keeps contaminated water out of the truckmount waste tank and saves the time spent emptying it.
Pump-Out Options
- 1½ in. barbed outlet — up to 50 US gallons per minute (about 190 L/min) to a 1½ in. drain hose.
- ¾ in. converter outlet — up to 12 US gallons per minute (about 45 L/min) to a standard garden hose.
- Gravity drain — toilet-height, for small jobs and tank cleanout.
Discharge contaminated (Category 3) water only where local council and water authority rules allow.

Electrical Note: 230 V Model
The Dri-Eaz spec sheet is for the 115 V / 60 Hz North American model: 12 A with blower 1 and the pump-out running, 13.5 A with blower 2 added. Those figures do not apply to the 230 V / 50 Hz machine CCW supplies, and we have not found a Dri-Eaz spec sheet for the 230 V version. The ETL listing to UL/cUL and CSA standards on the spec sheet also refers to the North American model.
Before you plan power on site — generator size, circuit loading, lead length — ask us for the current draw and plug rating of the 230 V unit.
Operating Advice
- Lift out and rinse the clear-view first-stage filter after every job, and whenever you see debris building up on it.
- After black water work, empty the tank, flush the tank and pump-out, and clean and sanitise the machine before it goes back in the van.
- Check the HEPA exhaust filter regularly. A loaded filter restricts airflow; a damaged one no longer protects the building.
- Wear the PPE the water category calls for under IICRC S500.
- Use the large rear wheels and low centre of gravity on stairs — do not carry the machine with water in the tank.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will it run on a standard power point?
Dri-Eaz does not publish the current draw of the 230 V model. Ask us for the figures before relying on a particular circuit or generator.
Can I use it with my truckmount?
Yes. Dri-Eaz designed it to boost vacuum in line with a truckmount or to intercept extracted water and pump it to drain, keeping the truckmount waste tank clean on black water floods.
How fast does it pump out?
Up to 50 US gallons (about 190 L) per minute through the 1½ in. barbed outlet, or 12 US gallons (about 45 L) per minute through the ¾ in. garden-hose outlet.
What happens when debris comes up the hose?
The clear-view first-stage filter catches debris before the tank, and the clog-resistant pump handles solids up to ½ in. (13 mm). Rinse the first-stage filter as it loads.
What hose comes with it?
One 25 ft. (7.6 m) section of 2 in. vacuum hose with cuffs. Extraction wands and tools are not listed as included.
