Remediation work is judged on what happens after the invoice. A surface that was cleaned but not sealed, or sealed but not cleaned, will bring you back to the same building — and on a mould or fire job that is a warranty conversation, not a service call.

Fiberlock is built around that sequence: clean the surface, then encapsulate it, then verify the space is safe to hand back.

The range covers Advanced Peroxide Cleaner in 1 quart and 2.5 gallon with the HydroBoost liquid additive and HydroBrite 1 kg powder additive; the IAQ coating line — 6000 white, 6000HD heavy duty white and 6100 clear mould-resistant coatings, and 7000 penetrating, 8000 white and 8500 black HVAC insulation coatings, all in 5 gallon; RECON smoke odour sealers in clear and white with RECON ULTRA in white; and the Klean Pop collapsible decontamination shower unit.

How to choose

Clean first, coat second — the order is not negotiable. A mould-resistant coating applied over residue seals the residue in. Advanced Peroxide Cleaner and the additives exist to get the substrate ready for the coating that follows.

Clear or white is a substrate decision. IAQ 6100 clear leaves timber and existing finishes visible, which matters where the surface stays on show. The white coatings give an opaque, uniform finish. 6000HD is the heavy duty option where the substrate is rough or heavily damaged.

HVAC coatings are not general coatings. The 7000, 8000 and 8500 are formulated for duct and insulation surfaces. Substituting a wall coating into a duct is a fire and air-quality question, not a coverage question.

Smoke sealing is a separate discipline to mould. RECON and RECON ULTRA address odour bound into char and porous surfaces. Applied to unsealed char, a counteractant alone is absorbed and gone.

Plan the decontamination exit. The Klean Pop shower is what stops the work area leaving the site with the crew. On a Category 3 or a meth job it is part of the method, not an accessory.
