Why a 15 inch head and 2 inch tube
A wider head covers more carpet per stroke, and the 2 inch tube carries the airflow a wide slot needs. The combination suits truckmounts and strong portables. On a weaker machine a 2 inch, 15 inch wand can lose lift at the slot; the Mach 12 with a 1.5 inch tube is the better match.

Titanium or stainless?
PMF makes the Mach 15 in both. Titanium is the lighter option; this listing is the titanium wand.
Is it suitable for a portable extractor?
It suits high-pressure portables with strong vacuum. For a smaller portable, the 1.5 inch tube Mach 12 is usually the better match.
Can I use stainless glides instead of PTFE?
PMF makes stainless-glide versions (Mach-15-AC33). PTFE reduces drag and operator effort. Ask us if you need stainless glides.
