Valve stem for Kingston 254 series and original PMF V2P valves
A replacement valve stem for the Kingston 254 series trigger valve and for PMF's original V2P valve, the model PMF later upgraded to the V2P-EZ.
Fitment
- Kingston 254 series trigger valves
- PMF V2P valve, original style (before the V2P-EZ)
Important — what is and is not included
This part is the valve stem only. On a Kingston 254 the stem is all you need. The original PMF V2P also uses a spring and spacer — if you are rebuilding a V2P, order the PMF V2P repair kit, which includes the stem, spring and spacer.
Important — which valves it does not fit
- PMF V2P-EZ: the current PMF valve takes the V2P-EZ repair kit.
- Kingston 251 and 251-30 high-pressure valves: these use different parts. For the 251-30 we stock the repair kit for the 251-30 Kingston valve.

A leaking stem is a warning
A weeping stem means the seal has started to let solution past. Hot solution under pressure will widen that path, and it does not always do so gradually. Replace the stem before running the tool on a job.
Frequently asked questions
How do I tell an original V2P from a V2P-EZ?
Check the model stamped on the valve body. If it is not legible, send us a photo before ordering — the two look similar and take different parts.
Should I replace just the stem?
On a Kingston 254, yes — the spring and spacer are not required. On an original PMF V2P, the stem alone will do if the spring and spacer are in good condition. If not, use the V2P repair kit.
Is it time to upgrade to the V2P-EZ instead?
If the valve body is worn or damaged, a new PMF V2P-EZ valve is the better repair. It is rated to 500 psi and high temperature, and takes its own repair kit.
What We See in the Field
[Technician's Note — replace before publishing: two to four sentences of first-hand CCW field experience relevant to this product. A pattern you see, a mistake customers make, or something learned from servicing or selling it. Not spec repetition, not a sales pitch, not invented.]
Not sure which valve you have, or which part fits it? Send us a photo of the valve and we will identify it before you order.
