Description
Penguin 5 Gallon Cordless Sprayer, 120 PSI
The Penguin 5 Gallon Battery Operated Sprayer is portable and suits a wide range of jobs, such as disinfectants, pre-sprays, deodorants, and more. This battery-operated sprayer is cordless, thus allowing you to take it anywhere you wish — a good choice for those with a lot of area to cover.
The Penguin is lightweight, thanks to the compact and high-performance, lithium ion battery pack. SOS say it keeps you going for days and charges in hours. Well suited to pre-spraying carpets.
The Penguin handle keeps your spotting supplies close by too, such as the UV light by Stain Out System (described by SOS as its #1 selling light).

Battery Capacity
SOS's product page lists a 12 V × 6 Ah battery; its current online store lists the battery version as 5 Ah. We show both rather than pick one. Battery life per charge depends on how much you spray, so treat "all day" as SOS's description rather than a tested figure.
Pressure
SOS rate the Penguin at 120 psi. Some US distributors list a lower pressure for the Penguin; those listings may refer to the plug-in model. CCW sells the 120 psi battery version.
Weight When Full
Water weighs 1 kg per litre, so a full tank adds about 19 kg to the 11.3 kg sprayer. Plan your lift into the van accordingly, and fill on site where you can.
Charging and Care
- Use the charger made for the pack. CCW's Australian-plug charger is E-005-A-SOS-AU.
- Store the battery part-charged, out of a hot vehicle, and retire any pack that has swollen or been dropped hard.
- Empty and rinse the tank and hose after chemical use so product does not sit on the pump seals.
- Check chemical compatibility before spraying solvents or degreasers — ask us first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Penguin or G3?
The Penguin carries twice the solution of the SOS G3 (formerly Gentoo) and includes the upholstery gun and hose. The G3 is lighter to carry up stairs. Choose on how much you spray between refills.
What warranty applies?
SOS publish the Penguin warranty as a separate document, not in the product text. Confirm terms with CCW before you rely on them.
Can I use it for disinfectants?
Yes — SOS list disinfectants among its uses. Follow the disinfectant label for dilution and contact time, and rinse the sprayer afterwards.
