Repair kit for the PMF V2P-EZ valve (new style)
The service kit for the current V2P-EZ, PMF's 500 psi forged brass trigger valve with the PTFE seat.
Fitment
- PMF V2P-EZ valve — the current, easy-pull model
Important — not for the original V2P or the Kingston 254
The valves look similar but take different parts:
- Original PMF V2P: PMF V2P repair kit (stem, spring and spacer)
- Kingston 254 series: valve stem only (PKI25312TV)
PMF lists two kit numbers against the V2P-EZ (RV2P-EZ and RV2PN-EZ). If you are matching a PMF part number, tell us which one and we will confirm before you order.
Rebuild rather than replace
A trigger valve that drips is almost always a seat or an O-ring, not a failed casting. A kit and twenty minutes on the bench is the difference between a serviceable valve and a new one, and it means the machine goes back out the same day.
Frequently asked questions
What symptoms does this kit fix?
Solution dripping after the trigger is released, or weeping around the stem, both point to worn seals or seat.
Do I need a new handle as well?
Only if the handle is bent or cracked. A damaged handle can stop the valve closing fully. The PMF valve handle for V2P and V800 valves is sold separately.
When is a new valve the better option?
If the forged body is cracked or the seat area is scored, a kit will not seal it. Replace the V2P-EZ valve.
What We See in the Field
[Technician's Note — replace before publishing: two to four sentences of first-hand CCW field experience relevant to this product. A pattern you see, a mistake customers make, or something learned from servicing or selling it. Not spec repetition, not a sales pitch, not invented.]
Not sure which valve you have, or which kit fits it? Send us a photo of the valve and we will identify it before you order.
