Most Phoenix stainless-steel dehumidifiers take a 16" x 20" x 2" filter, not this one. CCW sells that size as the Phoenix 16" x 20" x 2" Pleated Media Filter (4021475-01), and US Phoenix distributors list a 16" x 20" x 2" filter for the stainless 200 series.
This 16" x 16" x 2" filter is for the original Phoenix 200 as CCW lists it. Measure the filter you are replacing, or send us a photo of it with your machine's model plate, and we will confirm before you order.

Like most air filters, it is sold by its listed size but actually measures slightly less, about 400 x 400 x 44 mm. That is normal and lets it slide into a 16" x 16" filter slot.

Using It in a Dri-Eaz HEPA 500
US parts distributors sell 16" x 16" x 2" pleated filters for the first and second pre-filter positions of the HEPA 500, which agrees with CCW's listing. The genuine Dri-Eaz pre-filters are the 1st stage F270 (MERV 4) and the 2nd stage F271 (MERV 8).
The efficiency rating of this filter is not stated beyond "medium efficiency", so we do not claim it is equivalent to either Dri-Eaz filter. Where a job specification names the filter, use the genuine part.
Why the Filter Matters on a Dehumidifier
The filter keeps dust and debris off the evaporator coil. A loaded filter cuts airflow across the coil, and a refrigerant dehumidifier with poor airflow removes less water while still sounding normal. A fouled coil costs far more to clean than a filter costs to replace.
When to Change It
- Check it at every job and every visit.
- Change it when it is visibly loaded, after any fire, soot, demolition or sanding job, and whenever airflow at the outlet drops.
- Do not wash a pleated media filter. The media does not recover and the frame is card.
- Never run the machine without a filter.
