Product overview
The B&G Flex-A-Lite 2600 is a hand-held ULV fogger built for spot application rather than whole-area fogging. The nozzle sits on the end of a 120 cm hose, so the operator can direct the fog into a cabinet, a void, a duct run or behind fixed equipment without moving the machine.
Droplet size is adjustable across the full range, from true ULV at 20 microns or less up to a wet mist at 50 microns and larger. That range is the point of the machine: small droplets stay airborne and reach surfaces you cannot see, while larger droplets fall and wet the surface directly.

Working with a ULV fogger
Droplet size is the setting that matters. Below about 20 microns the fog behaves like a gas and follows air movement into voids; above about 50 microns it behaves like a spray and wets what it lands on. Choose the setting for the job rather than leaving the valve where the last operator left it.
Match the solution to the machine, not the other way around. Check that the product you intend to fog is approved by its manufacturer for cold ULV application, and check the dilution. Some products are formulated for thermal fogging and will not perform through a cold fogger.
Ventilate and re-enter properly. Fogging fills a space with suspended droplets. Follow the dwell and re-entry times on the label of the product being applied, and wear the respiratory protection that product requires.
Flush after every use. Residue left in the tank and line is the main cause of blocked nozzles and inconsistent droplet size. Run clean water through until it comes out clear.
