Setting up
- Isolate power to the indoor unit and follow the unit manufacturer's guidance on protecting its electronics.
- Remove the front cover and filters.
- Fit the adjustable brackets and wrap the adhesive around the unit so the bib seals against the case.
- Hang the bib and run the drain hose into the bucket, below the unit so it drains by gravity.
- Apply coil cleaner, allow dwell time, and rinse coil and blower wheel with clean water.
- Let the bib drain, remove it, empty the bucket and dispose of the waste water according to local requirements.

Will it fit my unit?
It suits most wall-mounted indoor units up to 44 in (about 1,118 mm) wide. Measure the unit before ordering; for a wider unit, check the XL kit.
Can I use it with a pump sprayer?
Yes. SpeedClean lists pump sprayers or the CoilJet. A pressurised sprayer does a better job of the blower wheel than a trigger bottle.
Does the bib protect the electronics?
No. The bib catches run-off below the unit. Isolate power and protect the control board and display as the unit manufacturer directs.
How long does the bib last?
It is reusable. Rinse and dry it after each job; replace it when the seams leak or the plastic tears.
