NeoSan Labs 01 is a two-part (A and B) surface treatment for hard surfaces and textiles, applied by sprayer, cold fogger, ultra-low-volume equipment or compressed-air foam. Mixed in equal parts, it neutralises odours at a molecular level rather than masking them, and is fragrance-free. It suits contractors who want one product that runs through equipment they already own.

How the two-part system works
Each NeoSan Labs product is supplied as two separate liquids, A and B. They are stable apart and are combined in equal parts immediately before use. The mixed solution is left to rest for 10 minutes before application and then stays usable for 12 hours, so mix only what you will apply in that window.

Applications
Odour treatment and surface cleaning in commercial and public buildings: offices and workspaces, schools, gyms, conference venues, commercial kitchens, hospitality, aged care, childcare, veterinary premises and kennels, and other high-traffic public spaces.
Directions for use
- Combine 01-A and 01-B in equal parts in the fogging or spraying device.
- Mix well. For best results, let the mix rest for 10 minutes before use.
- Fog or spray at 6.8 ml per square metre (0.02 oz per square foot). Allow to air dry.
- Use the mixed solution within 12 hours.
- On textiles, test a small, hidden area first.
Wear the personal protective equipment listed on the safety data sheet, particularly when fogging.

Frequently asked questions
Is NeoSan Labs 01 a registered disinfectant in Australia?
No. It carries a US EPA registration, which does not apply here, and it is not listed on the ARTG. We sell it without disinfectant or germ-kill claims. If a job specification calls for a listed disinfectant, use a listed product.
Can I mix it in advance?
Only up to 12 hours ahead. Once A and B are combined the solution stays usable for 12 hours, so mix what you will apply in that window.
What equipment do I need?
Any sprayer, cold fogger or ultra-low-volume unit, or a compressed-air foam system. No dedicated machine is required.
Can it be used on carpet and upholstery?
On textiles, test a small hidden area first. For carpet cleaning by hot water extraction, NeoSan Labs 03 Carpet is the product made for that job.
Does it leave a fragrance?
No. It is fragrance-free and works on odour without masking agents.
A note on earlier versions of this page
Earlier versions of this page carried the manufacturer's US marketing for NeoSan Labs 01 (sold in the US as 01 Disinfectant), including 99.99999% kill rates, named pathogens, sterilisation and "nontoxic" or "nonharmful" claims. Disinfectant and germ-kill claims in Australia need an ARTG listing, and safety claims of that kind need evidence we can stand behind here. NeoSan Labs products are not listed on the ARTG, so those claims have been removed. The formula is unchanged.
