Repair kit for the PMF V120P plastic valve
The service kit for PMF's 120 psi injection-moulded V120P valve. A dripping or weeping valve is usually worn seals, and the body can be kept in service.
Fitment
This kit is not for the brass V300 or the 500 psi valves, which use their own kits.
Know the limits of the valve you are repairing
The V120P is rated to 120 psi and to low temperature — PMF specifies 140 °F, which is 60 °C. It is an acetal-bodied valve with a stainless stem and handle, and it is the right valve for low-pressure work.
If the valve has failed because the machine is running hotter or harder than that, a kit will only buy you time. Step up to the V300 at 300 psi or the V1245B at 500 psi and high temperature instead.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know the kit will fix my valve?
If the trigger closes but solution still drips, or the valve weeps around the stem, the seals are the likely cause. If the plastic body is cracked, swollen or distorted, a kit will not fix it — replace the valve.
PMF lists a Viton kit too. Which is this?
PMF lists a standard V120P kit (R120-P) and a Viton-seal kit (R120P-V). Ask us before ordering if you specifically need Viton seals for your chemistry.
Does it fit the older PMF V120 valve?
PMF lists a separate kit (R120) for the V120. Send us a photo if you are not sure which you have.
What We See in the Field
[Technician's Note — replace before publishing: two to four sentences of first-hand CCW field experience relevant to this product. A pattern you see, a mistake customers make, or something learned from servicing or selling it. Not spec repetition, not a sales pitch, not invented.]
Not sure which valve you have, or which kit fits it? Send us a photo of the valve and we will identify it before you order.
