Hand tools do the work the spinner cannot reach
A spinner cleans the field. The edges, corners, coves and step nosings are hand tool work, and they are what the customer looks at when they inspect the job — a perfectly cleaned floor with dirty edges reads as a bad job.
Because the hand tool is used against edges and vertical faces, its brush wears unevenly and faster than a spinner ring. Treat it as a more frequent consumable.
