What a deodoriser can and cannot do
An odour counteractant deals with the odour in the air and in the fibre. It does not remove the source. Urine in underlay, contaminated water in a subfloor or soot in a cavity will keep producing odour until it is cleaned out or removed — then the deodoriser finishes the job.
On restoration work, remove or clean the source first and use the deodoriser as the last step, not the first.

- Signal word: None
- Hazard statements: none
- Poisons schedule: Not scheduled
- Transport: Not classified as dangerous goods for road and rail transport (ADG Code).
The SDS still recommends eye protection (safety glasses or goggles) when using the product and suitable gloves where skin contact is likely. Keep out of reach of children.
The SDS lists a quaternary ammonium compound (1–3%) and gives the product use as a bathroom cleaner, disinfectant and air freshener. CCW sells Big Blue as an odour counteractant and makes no disinfection claim for it.
For poisoning advice in Australia, call the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26. Always read the full safety data sheet before use.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use it on wool?
Razorback states it is safe for wool and 5th-generation nylon carpets and fabrics. Pre-test first, as with any chemical on wool.
Big Blue or Big Lemon?
Both are used the same way at the same rates. The difference is fragrance and safety classification: Big Blue's SDS classifies it as not hazardous, while Big Lemon's SDS classifies it as Danger — causes serious eye damage. Where operators or occupants are a concern, Big Blue is the lower-hazard choice.
Will it get rid of urine odour?
Only once the source has been dealt with. Inject it neat into the underlay at the source after the urine has been flushed or extracted, or replace contaminated underlay.
Does it disinfect?
CCW does not sell it as a disinfectant and makes no disinfection claim.
