Tramex DL-RHTX Feedback Datalogger – ambient and in-situ RH

The DL-RHTX logs ambient relative humidity and temperature, and accepts Hygro-i2 and RH wand probes for in-situ relative humidity measurement in concrete slabs and structures to ASTM F2170 and BS 8201, 8203 and 5325. Relative humidity probes can also be used for ambient RH measurement within air spaces. It suits flooring inspectors, concrete contractors and anyone who needs to show how conditions changed while nobody was on site.

The logger and the Tramex Meters app record up to 100,000 data point entries for relative humidity, temperature, dew point and grains per pound, sent wirelessly over Bluetooth BLE to a mobile device. In the app you can view live readings, thermal conditions and psychrometric charts, and create and export spreadsheets, charts and reports.

The Feedback DataLogger requires the Tramex Meters app and a compatible iOS or Android device.

Features

  • Bluetooth BLE for use with mobile devices
  • Up to 100,000 data point entries
  • Instant set up and start modes
  • Ambient and in-situ RH and temperature logging
  • Optional contact temperature probe for surface temperature, estimated contact RH and contact delta temperature
  • Adjustable interactive chart, spreadsheet, report and export functions
  • Connectivity up to 50 metres for data downloads
  • Wall mounting and tripod stand included

Probe compatibility – bayonet connector

The DL-RHTX uses the bayonet connector, the same as the CMEX5 and MEX5. Order the “B” suffix accessories:

DL-RHTX or DL-RHTA?

The RHTX is the one to buy if in-situ testing is ever likely – it does everything the DL-RHTA does and adds in-situ RH probe capability. The RHTA logs ambient conditions and takes the optional contact temperature probe, but cannot take RH probes.

Frequently asked questions

Can it log in-situ RH continuously in a slab?

Yes – that is the point of the RHTX. A probe left in a sleeved hole and logged over days shows the slab's drying curve rather than a single equilibrated reading, which is far more useful when a floor is behind schedule and someone wants to know when it will be ready.

Why log rather than spot-read?

A single reading proves the conditions at the moment you took it. A log proves what happened overnight, over a weekend, and while nobody was on site – which is what a builder, insurer or client disputing a drying claim will ask about. Continuous data is evidence; a clipboard entry is an assertion.

Does it need to stay in Bluetooth range?

No. The logger records independently and holds the data until you return and download it. Range matters when you collect the data, not while it is logging.

Is the app free?

The Tramex Meters app is a free download for iOS and Android. You need a compatible device to set up the logger and retrieve data.
