NeoSan Labs 02 Air Detox is a two-part (A and B) treatment applied by micro-mist cold fogger or ultra-low-volume equipment to treat odour throughout a room or vehicle. It neutralises odours at a molecular level without fragrance or encapsulating agents, so the result is a neutral space rather than a masked one. NeoSan Labs also state that it neutralises volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde.

How the two-part system works
Each NeoSan Labs product is supplied as two separate liquids, A and B. They are stable apart and are combined in equal parts immediately before use. The mixed solution is left to rest for 10 minutes before application and then stays usable for 12 hours, so mix only what you will apply in that window.

Applications
Trains, buses, taxis and other vehicles; workspaces, waiting areas and lounges; hotels and hospitality; childcare and aged care; schools, fitness studios and spas; theatres, casinos and other high-density public spaces.
Directions for use
- Combine 02-A and 02-B in equal parts in the fogging or spraying device.
- Mix well. For best results, let the solution rest for 10 minutes before use.
- Apply at 6.8 ml per square metre (0.02 oz per square foot).
- Avoid contact with human or animal food. If used on food-contact surfaces, rinse with water after treatment.
- Use the mixed solution within 12 hours.
- How often to treat depends on how quickly the space is re-contaminated.
Personal protective equipment must be worn during application. Keep people and animals out of the space while fogging, and follow the safety data sheet for re-entry.

Frequently asked questions
Does Air Detox just cover the smell?
No. It contains no fragrance or encapsulating agents. It works on the odour itself, so nothing is left behind to mask it.
What equipment do I need?
A micro-mist cold fogger or ultra-low-volume unit. A standard pump-up sprayer will not give the fine, even mist this product is designed for.
Do people need to leave the room?
Yes. The operator must wear PPE, and the space should be cleared during fogging. Check the safety data sheet for re-entry guidance.
Is it a disinfectant or air sanitiser in Australia?
No. It carries a US EPA registration, which does not apply here, and it is not listed on the ARTG. We sell it as an odour treatment only.
Can it be used around food?
Avoid contact with food. If food-contact surfaces are treated, rinse them with water afterwards.
A note on earlier versions of this page
Earlier versions of this page carried the manufacturer's US marketing for NeoSan Labs 02 Air Detox, including 99.99999% kill rates, named pathogens, sterilisation and "nontoxic" or "nonharmful" claims. Disinfectant and germ-kill claims in Australia need an ARTG listing, and safety claims of that kind need evidence we can stand behind here. NeoSan Labs products are not listed on the ARTG, so those claims have been removed. The formula is unchanged. Where a scope calls for a listed disinfectant, ask us: Actichem Percide is the listed peroxide option we carry.
We have also removed health claims about asthma, allergies and chemical sensitivity. They are not claims we can substantiate for the Australian market.
