Detachable relative humidity and temperature sensor
The ambient sensor for Delmhorst thermo-hygrometers. Measures the psychrometric conditions in the room — relative humidity and temperature — from which the meter derives dew point, GPP and vapour pressure.

Important — this is the ambient sensor, not the in-situ probe
If you need to test inside a concrete slab to ASTM F-2170, this is not the sensor. That requires the RH/T-S3 in-situ sensor together with CS-3 sleeves. The S1 reads the air; the S3 reads the slab.
Why restoration technicians carry spares
On a drying job you are logging affected, unaffected and outside conditions at every visit. A sensor that has been dropped, soaked or contaminated will drift, and drifted humidity readings quietly corrupt every psychrometric calculation on the report. They are sold in packs of five for exactly this reason.
Check them against a known standard rather than assuming. The RH/TK/33 and RH/TK/75 salt solution kits do that in a few hours.

Can I use it on a QuickNav?
Yes. The S1 works with the HT-4000, TotalCheck, Navigator Pro and QuickNav.
Can I extend it away from the meter?
Yes — the RH/T-C1 extension cable gives you 3 feet, so you can read the display while the sensor is somewhere awkward.
How often should it be checked?
Delmhorst does not publish an interval. Check it before any job where the numbers will be relied on, and after any incident that might have damaged it.
