Where It Fits in the Job

Where the Figures Differ
Sources do not all agree, so we show each figure rather than choose one:
- Dimensions: CCW's list gives 32 × 46 × 55 cm (H × W × D). An Australian hire company lists the 230 V BD2500 at 457 mm H × 318 mm W × 546 mm D, and Legend Brands (Dri-Eaz's parent company) list the US Revolution at 44.7 × 31.8 × 54.6 cm (H × D × W). The height in CCW's list looks transposed — allow about 46 cm of height when planning stacking or loft access, and ask us to measure if clearance is tight.
- Maximum water removal: 64 L/day (feature list) vs 63 L/day (specification list and UK dealers for F413-230V).
- Air filter: CCW's list says 3M™ HAF. US distributors sell the 4-PRO filter F583 for the Revolution (F413), which matches CCW's own filter listing. See Filters below.
- Refrigerant: CCW's list says 410A; Legend Brands' current US Revolution uses R32. The refrigerant can change between production runs — check the unit's rating plate.
Filters
The Dri-Eaz 4-PRO Dehumidifier Filter 25 cm x 27.5 cm (F583) is listed by CCW for the BD2500 (F413). Check the filter at every equipment swap; a loaded filter cuts airflow over the coil and water removal falls with it.
Optional Attachment — Ducting the BD2500
The Dri-Eaz Duct Kit (F530) converts the BD2500 into a ductable dehumidifier. It fits a 10 inch (254 mm) duct ring to the process air outlet, so lay-flat ducting can be attached and the warm, dry air delivered into a closed room, a wall cavity, a subfloor or a piece of specialty drying equipment. It installs in about a minute with a Phillips screwdriver.
The kit includes two 3 m lengths of ducting. For longer runs the matching roll is the Phoenix Layflat Ducting 250 mm x 75 m — the 355 mm and 300 mm flat-width rolls are smaller than the duct ring and will not fit.
Note that the kit ducts the discharge only. The BD2500 still draws its process air from the space it is standing in, so machine placement still decides what is being dried.
Operating Advice
- Run the 12.2 m drain hose to a floor waste, sink or outside drain before starting, and check it is not kinked.
- When stacking, make sure each unit sits securely on the one below and keep the air inlets clear — a unit starved of air cannot dehumidify.
- Use the inlet and outlet readings and the hour and kilowatt-hour counters for your drying log.
- At a 3.4 A draw it runs from a standard outlet. If you must use an extension lead, use a correctly rated heavy-duty lead and keep it uncoiled.
- There are no wheels — carry it by the two soft-grip handles or move stacked units on a hand truck.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the BD2500 the same machine as the Dri-Eaz Revolution?
UK Dri-Eaz dealers sell model code F413-230V as the Revolution LGR 230 V, and US distributors sell the F413 as the Revolution. CCW's SKU is F413-230V. We have not had this confirmed by Dri-Eaz, so if you are ordering parts, send us the serial number and we will match them.
How much water does it remove?
63 L/day at 32.2 °C and 90% RH, and 36 L/day at the AHAM condition of 26.7 °C and 60% RH. Removal falls as the air dries — that is expected on every dehumidifier.
Can I duct it into a wall cavity or subfloor?
Yes, with the Duct Kit F530 and 250 mm lay-flat ducting. The kit ducts the discharge air only.
Which filter does it take?
The 4-PRO filter F583, listed by CCW for the BD2500 (F413).
What warranty applies?
CCW's specification lists a 2-year limited product warranty, a 6-year refrigeration system warranty and a lifetime housing warranty. Ask us for the current terms before purchase.
