The Injectidry Vac-T is the 1.25 inch push-to-connect fitting that joins a Vac-It panel's large port to the 1.25 inch hose run of an Injectidry HP system. Injectidry describes it as a "1.25" Push to Connect Vac-T for use with HP products" and sells it each.

How the HP system works
Injectidry HP is a forced-air cavity and floor drying system. An HP blower connects through a Main W manifold to 1.25 and 1.5 inch hoselines. For walls, ceilings and cabinets, active hoselines feed 3/8 inch tubing to wall injectors in small drilled holes; for floors, Vac-It panels sit on the surface and are connected into the hose run. Depending on the set-up, the blower either pushes dry air into the cavity (positive) or draws air out of it (negative). Air moves through the cavity rather than past it, which is how the structure dries without being opened up.
Everything in the range is about maintaining that airflow path. A leak anywhere in the manifold, a capped port left open, or a blocked injector, and the system draws the easy air instead of the air you need moved.
Earlier versions of this page described the HP as a negative-only system with injectors acting as passive air inlets. That was not accurate: the HP runs in either mode, and every injector is connected to the hoseline by tubing.
Connecting to a panel
The Vac-T is the connection between a hose line and a wall or ceiling panel. Getting a proper seal here is what determines whether the negative pressure is applied to the cavity or to the room.
Vac-It panels work under negative pressure — the blower draws moisture-laden air up through the flutes of the panel and away. A Vac-T that is not fully pushed home, or a panel that is not sealed to the surface, lets room air in and the panel stops pulling from the floor.
Where the Vac-T is used
- Large-port Vac-It panels — the Clear Slim Panel (single large port) is supplied with one Vac-T.
- The Vac-It Panel Variety Pack includes Vac-Ts for its large-port panels (Injectidry's panel instructions list eight).
- Spares for a lost, cracked or worn Vac-T, so a panel can stay in service.
Panels with 3/8 inch points (the 8-point panel, the slim panel kit and the extra slim panel) connect with 3/8 inch tubing, not a Vac-T.
Setting up a panel with a Vac-T
- Extract as much water as possible first. The HP is a drying system, not an extractor — Injectidry says bulk water through the blower will damage it and void the warranty.
- Fit the Water Separator on the negative side for the first 24 hours (Injectidry's recommendation).
- Seal the panel to the floor as Injectidry's panel instructions describe.
- Push the Vac-T fully into the panel port and push the 1.25 inch hose fully into the Vac-T.
- Cap every unused 1.25 inch port with an end cap.
- Run the blower and check each connection for air draw before leaving site.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Vac-T work with Direct-It?
Injectidry lists the Vac-T for HP products. Direct-It uses a different 1.25 inch hose and cuff system — tell us which system you run before ordering.
Can I use a Vac-T on the 8-point or slim panels?
No. Those panels have 3/8 inch extraction points and connect with 3/8 inch tubing. The Vac-T suits panels with a large port.
What is it made of, and what are its dimensions?
Injectidry does not publish material or dimensions for the Vac-T. If you are matching it to a non-Injectidry panel, send us a photo and a measurement of the port first.
How do I know if a Vac-T is leaking?
With the blower running, listen and feel at the joint. Air being drawn in at the fitting, or a panel that does not pull down to the floor, points to a poor seal at the Vac-T or the panel edge.
