How the HP system works

Injectidry HP is a negative-pressure wall drying system. A blower pulls air out of a wall cavity through a manifold and a set of hose lines; injectors let replacement air in through small holes drilled in the lining. Air moves through the cavity rather than past it, which is the only way to dry a wall without opening it up.

Everything in the range is about maintaining that airflow path. A leak anywhere in the manifold, a capped port left open, or a blocked injector, and the system draws the easy air instead of the air you need moved.

Injectidry note that the HP blower can also be run on positive pressure.

Where the W sits

The Main W is the first split off the blower — one 2 inch connection at the machine becomes three 1.25 inch lines out to the wall. From there the inline manifolds distribute further, and end caps close the runs.

Any unused outlet must be capped. An open port is the path of least resistance and the system will draw room air through it instead of cavity air, which looks like the machine is running and achieves nothing.

Using the Main W for Floor Extraction

Injectidry's HP-PLUS manual describes a second use on floor drying jobs. Before the blower goes on, the Vac-It panels are laid out and the Main W is fitted with an Injectidry HB300 extraction hose barb (2 inch barb x 2 inch FPT, sold separately by Injectidry), and the barbed end goes into the 2 inch suction hose of a truckmount or portable extractor. The extractor pulls water up through the panels first — Injectidry specify at least 30 minutes — before the panels are taped and the HP blower takes over.

The HB300 is not currently listed on ccwonline. Ask us if you need one.

That order matters. Injectidry state plainly that bulk water passing through the HP blower can badly damage it and will void the warranty. Extract with the extractor, then dry with the HP.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Main W suit Direct-It?

No. Injectidry list it for HP products. Direct-It runs from an air mover adapter with its own hose and cuffs.

Do I need all three outlets in use?

No, but any outlet not in use must be capped with an end cap. An open port draws room air and starves the lines you are relying on.

What connects to the 1.25 inch outlets?

HP hose lines, inline manifolds and panel connectors, joined with HC-125 hose connectors. Tell us your setup and we will list the parts.

Injectidry parts are system-specific — HP and Direct-It use different connections. Tell us which system you run and we will confirm the part before you order.
