Place this unit in an air duct or in front of a carpet dryer and allow the airflow to carry the vapours to a large area.
It contains the odour neutralising industrial membrane. Rotating end caps can be adjusted to give exactly the right output. When treatment is complete, rotate the end caps closed to conserve the cartridge for later use.
What It Is
The Vaportek Heavy Duty Stand Alone (HDSA) cartridge is a self-contained odour neutraliser. It needs no Vaportek machine. Instead, it relies on air you are already moving on the job: an air mover, an air scrubber or the building's ductwork. "3X" is Vaportek's name for its industrial-strength formula for organic odours.
Where It Fits
- In front of an air mover or air scrubber during drying, so odour control runs alongside the drying set-up.
- In supply ductwork, to carry vapour through a building.
- In vehicles, rooms or storage areas where you want treatment between visits, with the end caps closed down to a lower output.
It neutralises airborne odour. It does not remove the source. Remove or clean contaminated materials first, or the odour will return when the cartridge is gone.
Vaportek Specifications
Vaportek's current version (HDSA 2.0) is rated to treat about 20,000 cubic feet (about 566 m³) for approximately 270 hours of continuous use, with click-and-ratchet end caps for output control. It can be mounted with zip ties or a mounting plate. We have not confirmed whether current CCW stock is the original design or the 2.0 version, so check the end caps if the mounting options matter to you.

Vaportek describes its cartridges and membranes as natural essential-oil odour neutralisers that release a dry vapour, and says its systems can be used in occupied buildings without harming people, plants or animals. Those are the manufacturer's statements. As with any fragrance or odour product, keep occupants with fragrance sensitivities or respiratory conditions in mind, and remove the odour source first.

Do I need a Vaportek machine?
No. That is the point of the stand-alone cartridge. Put it in the airstream you already have.
How do I make it last longer?
Close the end caps when treatment is finished, and turn them down when you only need maintenance output.
Is it for smoke odour?
This is the 3X Industrial formula for organic odours. Vaportek also makes the stand-alone cartridge in its S.O.S. smoke formula. We list S.O.S. as a Restorator cartridge; ask us if you want the stand-alone S.O.S. version.
