PMF replacement PTFE glide for the Mach 12 wand, new style
PMF's 12 inch PTFE round glide (AC33-M12TR), the glide-only replacement for the new-style Mach 12 titanium wand. It replaces the wear surface, not the head.

Important — new style only
PMF changed the Mach wands from a two-piece glide to a one-piece glide. This part is for the new style. If your Mach 12 still has the older two-piece glide, contact us before ordering. PMF's changeover video is on the Mach 15 page.
This listing is the PTFE glide only. It does not include stainless steel glides.
Why PTFE
PTFE has very low friction, so the wand slides across the carpet with less push from the operator. Over a full day that is less strain through the back and shoulders, and a smoother, more consistent stroke.
When to replace it
A worn glide changes the gap between the head and the carpet. That affects airflow at the slot, and it shows up as more drag and wetter carpet before the glide looks badly worn. Replacing the glide restores the head without replacing the wand.
Frequently asked questions
Does it fit the Mach 15?
No. The Mach 15 uses PMF's 15 inch glide, AC33-M15TR. Contact us for that part.
How do I tell if my glide is worn?
Look for flat spots, grooves or sharp edges on the running surface, or a wand that has started to drag or leave the carpet wetter than usual.
Can I fit stainless glides instead?
PMF makes Mach 12 wands with stainless glides (AC33 versions). Ask us before converting a PTFE-glide wand.
