Sizing layflat duct
Layflat duct is described by its flat width, not by the outlet it fits. A 300 mm layflat duct opens to roughly a 200 mm circle. Match the duct to the machine outlet, not to a number that sounds similar.
Important — this is not the same as the Phoenix 355 mm roll
CCW stocks a Phoenix Layflat Ducting 355 mm as well, and it is a different duct. The Phoenix rolls are named by their round diameter, so the Phoenix 355 mm fits a 355 mm outlet. This roll is 355 mm laid flat and fits outlets from 200 mm to 225 mm. Same number, roughly half the opening.
It also means this roll will not fit a Dri-Eaz BD2500 running the F530 Duct Kit — that kit uses a 254 mm duct ring and takes the Phoenix 250 mm roll.
Keep it short and keep the bends gentle
Every metre of duct and every tight bend costs airflow, and the loss is not proportional — a kinked duct can cut delivery to almost nothing while the machine sounds exactly the same. If a ducted setup is not drying, shorten the run before you add another machine.
Other sizes: 300 mm for 200 mm outlets and 450 mm for 285 mm outlets.
