High Powered Powder Enzyme Carpet Pre-Spray
SoilBreak is a synergistic concentration of enzymes, solvents, surfactants, and builders that work together to tackle the most stubborn build-up of caked-on oil, grease, protein, and sticky soils in the most challenging environments.
SoilBreak is an ultra-concentrated powder that is ideal for pre-spraying of restaurant carpets, automotive repair centres, and other carpets that are subjected to massive amounts of oil and grease-based soiling.
Unlike some enzyme pre-sprays that are sensitive to alkalinity and extremely hot water, SoilBreak contains a combination of enzymes that can be used in conjunction with your truckmount and high-performance portable extraction equipment.
This unique combination of enzymes works to accomplish the task in less time than with conventional enzyme pre-sprays. SoilBreak breaks down surface tension fast, allowing detergents and rinse agents to clean deep down.
It has an In-use pH of 11.3-11.9, depending on dilution with a pleasing lemon fragrance. 500 grams of SoilBreak can clean up to 750 square meters of carpet.
Directions:
- Pretest for colorfastness.
- Mix Soil Break at a rate of 2 oz. per gallon of hot tap water in a pump-up sprayer. In a Hydroforce type sprayer, mix 10 oz. into 5 qt. of hot tap water.
- Pre-spray Soil Break on the traffic areas, let dwell for 5-10 minutes and extract with Hydra-Dri or Hydra-Clean.
- pH in dilution is 11.3-11.9.
- To neutralise alkalinity, rinse or post-spray with HydraMaster Rinse Out or ClearWater Rinse.
- For best results, follow the standard carpet cleaning practices outlined in IICRC S001.

The Australian safety data sheet issued by Aberford Holdings (importer, trading as Carpet Cleaners Warehouse) classifies SoilBreak as a hazardous chemical and dangerous goods: signal word Danger; harmful if swallowed; causes severe skin burns and eye damage (sodium metasilicate); may cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled (protease enzyme); may cause respiratory irritation. Transport: UN 3262, Corrosive solid, basic, inorganic, n.o.s., Class 8, Packing Group II. Avoid breathing dust — wear a P2 respirator when decanting or mixing, plus chemical-resistant gloves and goggles; add the powder to water, and read the safety data sheet before first use.
