Important — internal-jet tools need a jet hole drilled
If your tool is a U1560 with internal jets, you will need to drill a hole in this head for the jet before fitting. PMF also lists a dedicated internal detailer replacement head (AC50AS). CCW does not list it online, so contact us if you would rather not drill.
It does not fit the 4.5 inch AW51A (U1564 series).
Head or glide?
If the tool has stopped sealing to the surface, decide whether the head itself is damaged or whether the glide is worn. A worn glide is the cheaper and far more common cause — see the 3 inch stainless glide set for detailers.
Replace the head when it is cracked, distorted by heat, or the vacuum slot has been worn out of shape. A distorted slot cannot be corrected by more vacuum.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know my tool is a U1560?
U1560 series detailers have a 3.5 inch head. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the tool.
Where do I drill the jet hole on an internal-jet tool?
Use the old head as the pattern so the jet sits in the same position. If in doubt, contact us before drilling.
What We See in the Field
[Technician's Note — replace before publishing: two to four sentences of first-hand CCW field experience relevant to this product. A pattern you see, a mistake customers make, or something learned from servicing or selling it. Not spec repetition, not a sales pitch, not invented.]
Tell us the wand or tool you are working on and we will confirm the part before you order.
