Metal spray gun used on older HydroForce AS08 injection sprayers and still used on the AS08M.
Also used on AS22A as well as some older solvent sprayers. Rated at 1000psi & 5gpm.
What it is
This is the Spraying Systems GunJet AA23H — the metal trigger gun used on HydroForce-style injection sprayers — fitted with Viton packing. US distributors of the same gun, under the same repair part numbers, list it as the AA23H. Viton is used because it stands up to the solvents and strong prespray chemistry these sprayers carry better than standard rubber packing.

Rebuild or replace?
A gun that drips at the tip when the trigger is released has a worn shut-off disk or stem seal. A gun that weeps around the stem has tired packing. Both are rebuilds, not replacements. Replace the gun when the body is cracked, the threads are damaged, or the trigger mechanism is bent.
Relieve the pressure in the sprayer before working on the gun.

Will this fit my current HydroForce sprayer?
It is the metal gun used on older AS08 sprayers and on the AS08M and AS22A. Newer sprayers may use a different gun. Send us a photo of the gun on your sprayer if you are unsure.
Why Viton packing?
Solvent-based and high-pH prespray chemistry swells and degrades standard rubber seals. Viton resists that far better, so the gun stays sealed for longer.
Can I use it on a hot-water pressure line?
Only within its rating — 1000 psi and 93 °C. It is a sprayer gun, not a pressure-washer or truckmount wand valve.
