Formulated to remove coffee stains, no matter how old and set in. Dilute with very hot water and spray the solution directly onto the stain whilst the solution is still very hot.
Most stains begin to lift within seconds. For really tough stains, repeat the application. It is also effective on water stains and urine stains.

Choosing a spotter by stain type
Spotting failures are almost always a chemistry mismatch, not a technique problem. The pH of the spotter has to suit what you are removing.

Finish with a residue rinse. Professional-strength spotters leave residue that attracts soil and can wick back. Stop Spot neutralises alkaline residue and lays down an encapsulating polymer, which is what stops the mark reappearing a week later.
Frequently asked questions
Why did the spot come back?
Two usual causes. Either contamination remains below the surface and has wicked back up as the carpet dried, or spotter residue has been left in the pile and is attracting soil. A residue rinse with Stop Spot addresses the second; the first needs proper extraction of the affected area.
Can I use an alkaline spotter on any stain?
No. Alkaline spotters suit protein. On rust or coffee they achieve nothing and can set the stain. Match the chemistry to the stain — see the table above.
Do I need to neutralise after spotting?
After alkaline spotters, yes. T-Rust is the exception — Bridgepoint state it requires no neutralising and rinses with clear water. In general, leaving a professional-strength spotter in the pile without rinsing creates a resoiling problem where you solved a stain problem.
Will these damage wool or natural fibre?
Check the label before use. Several of the oxidising products are specified for synthetic carpet and fabrics only and are not recommended for natural fibres. Test in an inconspicuous area on anything you have not treated before.
