The MV960 trigger spray gun — the gun fitted to Hydro-Force injection sprayers and used with the SX-12 and Gekko tools.
Rated at 2,600 PSI and 7 GPM, with 1/4 inch male in and 1/4 inch female out.
Repair Kits Exist — and There Are Two Generations
A gun that leaks past the trigger or will not shut off cleanly is usually a valve problem, not a gun problem, and the valve is a serviceable item.
- Older generation — valve NA031, repair kit NA031A, plastic body NA031B.
- Newer generation — valve NA033, repair kit NA033A.
Each kit contains a stainless ball, spring, stem, seat and the O-rings and back-up ring. Tell us which generation you have and we will get the right one.
Where It Is Used
Hydro-Force AS08 and AS08R injection sprayers, the SX-12, the Gekko tools and Omni Pro sprayers. It is also the original priming valve on some Mytee and Ninja machines.
On the Manufacturer
The MV960 is an Italian-pattern trigger gun and different suppliers attribute it differently — you will see it listed under Pumptec, Mecline and AR. The design traces to the Mecline MV-series; the others are distribution relationships. We have not been able to settle it from a primary source, so we are not going to state a manufacturer on this page.

Usually not. The valve is serviceable and there is a repair kit for each generation.

Will it fit my AS08 sprayer?

What We See in the Field
On a Hydro-Force, a dribbling gun also makes it harder to judge whether the injector itself is behaving normally. Service the valve early and keep a spare repair kit or gun available instead of finishing jobs with a trigger you can't trust.
