FibrePro is an economical, high-performance, low-risk, low-pH prespray, spotter and extraction fluid that can be used on carpet and wet-cleanable upholstery. FibrePro was formerly sold as PowerClean.
FibrePro is a low-foaming and free-rinsing prespray that has the performance of products with significantly higher pH. Because it works at a lower pH, it is a gentler choice on wool and sensitive fibres than a high-alkaline prespray. It still carries an eye-irritation warning, so handle it like any concentrate (see Safety below).
This is an advanced formulation for use on all types of carpets and wet-cleanable upholstery. FibrePro has a very pleasant lemon and citrus fragrance that your clients will appreciate well after the clean has been completed.
Three jobs in one product
- Prespray: apply ahead of extraction to break down soil.
- Spotter: work into spots before or during the clean.
- Extraction fluid: use in the machine as the cleaning solution.
Dilution
Standard dilution for medium to heavily soiled carpets is 1:32. However, good results can still be achieved at dilutions of 1:40 (160 ml per 5 litre pump sprayer or 1 litre per 4.5 L injection sprayer). For light soiling, FibrePro can be diluted at up to 1:65, which provides extremely cost-effective cleaning results.

The sprayer quantities above are CCW's published figures. Worked out exactly, 1:40 in a 5 litre sprayer is about 125 ml of concentrate, so 160 ml per 5 litres is closer to 1:30. If you are mixing to a strict ratio, measure by the ratio rather than the sprayer figure.
How to use it
- Vacuum thoroughly before cleaning.
- Pre-test in an inconspicuous area for colourfastness.
- Apply at the dilution that suits the soiling and allow a short dwell. Do not let the prespray dry on the carpet.
- Agitate traffic lanes where needed, then extract.

- Transport: Not classified as dangerous goods for road and rail transport (ADG Code).
Wear eye protection. If it gets in the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and remove contact lenses if easy to do.

Frequently asked questions
Is FibrePro the same product as PowerClean?
FibrePro is the current name for the product formerly sold as PowerClean.
Can I use it on wool?
It is a low-pH prespray made for all carpet types. Pre-test for colourfastness, as with any product.
Do I need to rinse after it?
It is free-rinsing. An acid rinse such as e-Rinse EFR is still good practice on wool and on carpets prone to browning.
Which size should I buy?
The 5 litre is also available: FibrePro 5 litre.
