Important — Buna or Viton
This is the Buna (nitrile) seal kit. Pumptec also makes a Viton version, part 10005, for chemistry that Buna does not suit. Tell us what you run through the pump if you are unsure.
Rebuild Rather Than Replace
A plunger pump is a machined body with consumable seals, valves and O-rings inside it. Those consumables are what fail; the body outlives them many times over. A pump that has lost pressure or started pulsing is almost always telling you the valves or the seals are done, not that the pump is finished.
A rebuild kit and an hour on the bench is a fraction of the price of a pump, and it keeps the machine earning.
Valves or Plunger?
Weeping from the pump body, or pressure that falls away under load, points to the plunger seals — this kit. Pulsing or a pump that will not build points to the valves. For the 112T that is the Pumptec Kit B Valves and Seals, 112, 113, 217, 350, 356/360 (10004). The 114T uses a different valve kit, Pumptec 10014.
Service Intervals
Pumptec recommends checking seals and valves at 500 hours, then every 500 hours until wear shows. Valves typically need changing at every seal change, and the pressure regulator should be serviced at the same time.
