Viton, and why that matters
Viton handles higher temperatures and a wider chemical range than nitrile. On a machine running hot solution, or chemistry that would attack a standard seal, Viton is what makes the service interval reasonable rather than constant.
Do the whole set
The kit contains U-cups, O-rings, seal rings and backup rings because they wear together. Replacing only the one that failed leaves you doing the job again shortly afterwards.
