The latch group is a rod, this nut, a bolt and a nylon washer. A latch that will not hold adjustment usually needs more than one of them.
Identifying the right part
Fasteners and small components change between production runs, and the part on your machine may not match the current drawing. Measure what you are replacing, or photograph it against a ruler, and send that with your model and serial number. It takes a minute and it saves an order that does not fit.

The listing gives the size as 1/2 inch but does not say whether that is the thread diameter. Check it against the bolt it screws onto, or send us a photograph.
