About the CoilJet
The CoilJet is a self-contained, battery-powered coil cleaning system: a tank, a pump and a lance, built so a technician can wash an air conditioning coil in place without a power outlet or a water connection. Keeping one serviceable is a matter of small parts — a battery, a hose, a nozzle, a valve — and a machine sitting idle for want of one of them is the most expensive part in the kit.
Batteries fail from how they are stored, not how they are used
A sealed lead acid battery left flat sulphates, and sulphation is permanent. The CoilJet is a seasonal tool for many operators — used hard through summer, then left in a van over winter — and that is exactly the pattern that kills the battery.
Charge it before storage, and charge it again periodically through the off season. If a CoilJet has come out of storage with no run time, the battery is the first thing to check and usually the only thing wrong.
The matching charger is the 12 V 3 A charger.
