This is the new-style valve and it replaces the previous CJ2-07-1. If you are working from an older parts list, this is the part to order.
What a one-way valve does here
It stops flow running back the wrong way through the chemical circuit. When it fails, solution either does not draw properly or drains back into the tank between uses — so the first few seconds of every job run without chemistry and the operator does not know it.
