Fiberlock Advanced Peroxide Cleaner is a hydrogen peroxide-based cleaner that removes the staining left by mould and mildew on porous, semi-porous and non-porous materials. It is bleach-free, dye-free and perfume-free, and it foams, so it stays on the surface long enough to work.
Fiberlock describe it as a revolutionary hydrogen peroxide-based cleaner with performance unmatched by any other peroxide-based cleaner. Created using innovative chemistry and a unique manufacturing process, its proprietary formulation releases the product's maximum oxidation potential. This allows a lower-concentration product that is not DOT regulated in the US — and, per the Australian SDS, not regulated as dangerous goods for road, air or sea transport here either.

What It Is For — and What It Is Not
Advanced Peroxide Cleaner aggressively removes stains from mould and mildew and lifts inanimate particulate out of the surface through its foaming action. Fiberlock sell it as a stain remover and cleaner. It is not sold as a disinfectant or as a product that kills mould, and it does not replace the removal of mould-contaminated materials where your remediation scope calls for it.
Where it earns its place is the cosmetic end of a mould job: lifting the residual staining from materials that are being kept rather than removed, before an encapsulating coating such as Fiberlock IAQ 6100 goes on. Fiberlock's own IAQ 6100 surface-preparation instructions name Advanced Peroxide Cleaner for cleaning mould-stained surfaces.

How to Use
Always test textiles and fabrics for colour stability in an inconspicuous area before use. Advanced Peroxide Cleaner can be applied with a trigger or pump sprayer, airless spray, or mop/brush. When applying, saturate the affected material with enough product to remain wet for at least 10 minutes.
- Let it dwell. Give Advanced Peroxide Cleaner enough time to work its way into the substrate and lift inanimate particulate out through the foaming action. The dwell time depends on the thickness and porosity of the substrate but is usually 5 to 10 minutes.
- Agitate. After a layer of foam has developed, agitation will assist in removing more dirt. Use a stiff nylon bristle brush to fully agitate the surface.
- Let it work. As Advanced Peroxide Cleaner dwells on the surface it will remove staining.
- Repeat if needed. A second application may be necessary to achieve the desired result.
- Wipe clean before it dries. The surface should be thoroughly wiped clean before the product dries. The full brightening effect will be seen within 24 hours as the surface dries.
The follow-up step. Fiberlock's US directions finish with "after cleaning, disinfect with ShockWave or ShockWave RTU". ShockWave is a US-registered Fiberlock product that CCW does not sell. If your scope calls for a disinfection or antimicrobial step after cleaning, use a product registered for that use in Australia — ask us if you need help choosing.
Special note: only add Advanced Peroxide Cleaner to application equipment that is clean and free of dirt and debris. Never return unused material to the original container — dispose of it according to the SDS and your local regulations.

One 946 mL container therefore covers roughly 11.6 m² of porous surface, or up to about 27.9 m² of non-porous surface (our calculation from Fiberlock's rates) — enough for spot work and testing, not for a whole room.
Coverage rates are approximate and depend entirely on how heavily the product is applied to the substrate. Treat these figures as indicative rather than as a basis for quoting.
Safety
From the Australian SDS (ICP Group Australasia, version 3.3, July 2025). Although it is a low-concentration peroxide, this is still a hazardous chemical:

- H335 — May cause respiratory irritation
- Hydrogen peroxide content: 5–7.9% by weight
Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing mist, vapour or spray. Wear protective gloves (Fiberlock specify nitrile rubber or equivalent), protective clothing, and eye and face protection (Fiberlock specify safety glasses as a minimum). Spraying indoors on a remediation job is where respiratory protection matters — see the 3M 7502 (medium) and 3M 7503 (large) half-face respirators. Store locked up. Read the SDS before use.
CPVC pipe. Fiberlock note that CPVC pipe can be sensitive to chemicals in many cleaning products and coatings. Check pipe markings and contact the pipe manufacturer before applying any Fiberlock product to CPVC pipe.
Storage and Shelf Life
Store securely closed and upright in the original container — the vented cap can leak if the container is placed on its side. Do not store in direct sunlight, as this reduces the potency of the product. Store in a dry place between 4.5 °C and 32 °C and keep from freezing. If the product freezes, thaw at room temperature and shake gently to remix the components. Store in a locked area inaccessible to children.
Fiberlock's documents give two upper limits: 32 °C (90°F) in the storage instructions and 38 °C (100°F) in the precautions. We use the lower figure.
Note the shelf life. Twelve months minimum in the original sealed container, against thirty-six for the Fiberlock coatings. This is a peroxide product and it does not sit on a shelf indefinitely — buy what you will use.

Why the Lower Concentration Matters
Fiberlock formulate this to release a high oxidation potential at a comparatively low peroxide concentration, which keeps it outside dangerous goods transport regulation. For a contractor that means ordinary freight and ordinary storage rather than the handling a higher-strength peroxide would demand. It still needs the gloves, eye protection and ventilation listed above.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Advanced Peroxide Cleaner kill mould?
Fiberlock sell it as a stain remover and cleaner, and make no mould-kill or disinfection claim for it. It removes the staining mould and mildew leave behind. Removing contaminated material, and any disinfection step, are separate parts of the job.
Is it a bleach?
No. It is hydrogen peroxide-based and bleach-free. It is still an oxidiser, so test textiles and fabrics for colour stability first.
How long should it stay wet?
Saturate the material so it stays wet for at least 10 minutes. Dwell time is usually 5 to 10 minutes depending on thickness and porosity, and it must be wiped off before it dries.
Is it dangerous goods?
