Side gasket for the HydraMaster 70 gallon recovery tank, listed as Gasket, Side — Recovery Tank. Self-adhesive neoprene.
Two are fitted per tank. It seals along the side of the cover, where a hardened or compressed gasket leaks air at the tank rather than at the hose — so the symptom is lost vacuum at the wand with nothing obviously wrong at either end.
What it fits
Named in the current parts books for the HydraMaster Boxxer 318HP, TITAN 575HP and TMTG4000, and fitted to earlier machines using the same Universal Recovery Tank.
HydraMaster calls the tank a Universal Recovery Tank (URT) in its parts books; CCW and much of the trade still call it the Airmax tank. They are the same tank.
The full cover gasket set
HydraMaster specifies a different set for each tank size. The side gasket is the part that changes, and the middle gasket quantity changes with it.

Verified from the recovery tank cover assemblies in the Boxxer 318HP parts book (MAN-46586 Rev C). CCW lists the middle, 70 gallon side, bulkhead and adapter gaskets. For the end gasket (000-057-202) or the 100 gallon side gasket (000-057-205), contact us with your machine model and serial number.
Important — this is the side gasket, not a middle gasket
Earlier CCW copy described 000-057-204 as a 70 gallon middle gasket. The HydraMaster parts lists show it as the side gasket for the 70 gallon tank. The middle gasket is 000-057-203, and the side gasket for the 100 gallon tank is a different part again, 000-057-205.

How many do I need?
Two per 70 gallon tank. If you are rebuilding rather than replacing one damaged gasket, order the full set from the table above.
Will it fit the 100 gallon tank?
No. The 100 gallon tank uses 000-057-205 in this position.
Is it self-adhesive?
Yes. Clean the sealing face back to bare metal before fitting — adhesive over old gasket residue is the usual reason a new gasket leaks.
Can I cut my own?
Yes. CCW supplies a continuous waste tank gasket strip, 25 mm × 5 mm on a 13.7 m roll, which suits any of the lid positions. It is supplied as a length — cut it to suit the run on your machine.
