Tramex RHIE2 – Hygro-i2 Electronic Interface Cable (DIN)
RHIE2 has a DIN connector and is for use with the CMEX2 and MRH3. It will not connect to a CMEX5, MEX5 or DL-RHTX.
The Hygro-i2® electronic interface cable is what connects a Hygro-i2 relative humidity probe to the meter. The probe provides measurements of humidity, temperature and dew point in structural materials such as concrete flooring and walls, as well as ambient conditions within the building envelope.

This is the DIN version. If your meter is a CMEX5, MEX5 or DL-RHTX, order the RHIE2B instead. The two are not interchangeable.
How many do I need?
One. The cable is not consumed by testing and is not probe-specific – a single cable serves however many Hygro-i2 probes you own. Buy one per meter, not one per probe.

Do I need this cable if I already have probes?
Yes, unless you already have the cable for that meter. The probe has no direct connection to the meter without it.
Is the cable included with the probes?
No. Probes are supplied without the interface cable, which is why it is easy to order probes and find you cannot read them. The ASTM F2170 accessory pack includes the cable along with probes, liners, salt and the tool box.
Can I adapt a DIN cable to a bayonet meter?
No. The connectors are physically different and there is no adaptor. Order the version that matches the meter.
