The ADAPTIDRY is specifically designed to work with several pieces of drying equipment. The MAX Force and Phoenix Guardian HEPA filter* make a perfect companion to the ADAPTIDRY.
This ADAPTOR fits in well with today’s trend toward less destructive and non-invasive drying. Increasingly, Certified Industrial Hygienist are asking for more control and faster drying. How It Works
The Adaptidry dome sits on the duct ring of an axial fan, ventilator or air scrubber and splits its airflow across five ports, which feed 4 inch Mylar ducting and wall vents placed against the wall or floor being dried, so a whole section of wall cavity or sleepered floor is pressurised (push) or put under suction (pull) at once. Injectidry says that because such a large area is pressurised, it is not always necessary to drill holes in cabinets, walls and timber floors.

*NOTE: The newer model Phoenix Thermastor Guardian no longer has a sheet metal collar for the intake. To adapt the ADP-5 to the newer style Guardian or the older style without the collar, place the separate ring provided on the face of the Guardian port (on top of the unit) and then place the ADP-5 onto it. The ring is also sold separately as the Direct-It duct ring for ADP-5 or ADP-9 to Guardian.
Injectidry lists its M4 Mylar ducting as a case of 4 × 25 ft, rated to 160°F (about 71°C). CCW's list above gives 2 × 50 ft — the same 100 ft (about 30 m) either way.
Important: Drying Accessory, Not Containment
Run through a HEPA air scrubber, the air leaving the system has passed the scrubber's HEPA filter. That does not make the Adaptidry a containment or negative-air system for mould or asbestos work. Where a scope calls for containment, set it up separately with a dedicated air scrubber and follow the job specification.

The two Injectidry capacity figures differ. Plan on the lower one (18 ft) until the job proves otherwise.
Setting Up
- Check the ring size on the machine. On a newer Guardian, or an older one without the collar, fit the ring first.
- Seat the dome on the ring and connect the ducting to the ports with the turn-key clamps.
- Use the Y pieces to split runs where needed, and place the wall vents against the wall or floor being dried.
- Start the machine and check every vent is getting air (push) or pulling (pull) before you leave the site.
- Follow the Injectidry operations manual supplied for mounting and safety.
Frequently Asked Questions
ADP-5 or ADP-9?
The ADP-5 suits a room or a single long wall. For larger areas, the Adaptidry 9 Port spreads the same machine across more vents.
Will it fit my Phoenix Guardian?
Yes, with the ADPRING. The newer Guardian has no sheet metal collar on the intake, so the ring goes on the Guardian port and the ADP-5 sits on the ring.
Do I have to drill the wall?
Not always. Injectidry says the large pressurised area often avoids drilling. If you need to drive air into specific cavities, a drilled system such as Injectidry HP or Direct-It is the tool for that.
Can I use it with a normal carpet air mover?
It is designed for machines with 12, 14 or 16 inch duct rings — axial fans, ventilators and air scrubbers. A standard centrifugal carpet air mover has no duct ring to seat it on.
Can it run on a Dry Air Max Force?
Injectidry and CCW both list the MAX Force as a companion machine. See the Dry Air Max Force Ventilator.
Is the Mylar ducting heat rated?
Injectidry rates its M4 Mylar ducting to 160°F (about 71°C).
