The Pogo Pole is the fastest way to connect a negative air machine to a ceiling or wall duct opening. A spring-loaded telescopic pole holds a moulded poly adapter plate against the ceiling, sealing on foam, so one person can make the connection and move to the next opening in under a minute.
It suits Air-Care TurboJet and TurboMax machines and other brands of negative air machine. Air-Care part FG0038.
Why it matters on a job
Making the duct connection is the repetitive part of negative air work. Every supply and return needs sealing, and on a house with fifteen outlets the time spent taping, holding or improvising a seal is most of the day. Anything that turns that into a one-minute operation pays for itself quickly on volume residential work.
The foam seal is the other half of it. Taping to a ceiling risks pulling paint or paper on delicate surfaces; a 51 mm foam face applies pressure without marking.

Important
The Pogo Pole is sold only as a set. The plate and pole cannot be purchased individually. If you need a spare plate or a replacement pole, it is a complete unit.
The 300 mm collar mates with the light duty Mylar hose assembly. If you are running the heavy duty blue 305 mm hose, check the collar arrangement with us before ordering — Air-Care specify the Mylar assembly for this adapter and we would rather confirm the fit than have you find out on site.
Frequently asked questions
Will it work on acoustic drop ceilings?
Usually, yes. The spring pressure is gentle enough for most drop ceiling vents. Judge each ceiling on its condition — old or water-damaged tiles will not take pressure regardless of how gentle it is.
Can I use it with a brush at the same time?
Yes. The plate has a 100 mm access plug so a Cobra brush or air tool can be fed through while the vacuum connection stays sealed. That is what makes it work with a Cobra power brush system.
Does it fit machines other than Air-Care?
It is designed to attach an Air-Care TurboJet or other brand negative air machine. The variable is the hose collar, not the ceiling end. Tell us what machine and hose you run and we will confirm before you order.
From the workshop
On a wall register, don’t set the Pogo Pole nearly vertical and hope the rubber foot holds. Air-Care specify roughly a 60° angle, the foot on solid flooring rather than a loose rug, and say not to leave it unattended until you are sure it cannot slip. Disconnect the hose before moving the pole to the next opening.
