The JL-2000 has been superseded by the Delmhorst JLX-30 Leather Moisture Meter. The JLX-30 is the current leather meter, calibrated 10% to 28% moisture content on the same platform as the rest of the current Delmhorst range, with Bluetooth and the EDGE app for exportable batch records.
This page remains for operators still running a JL-2000. The meter continues to work, and Delmhorst electrodes are broadly interchangeable across the range — contact us with what you need and we will confirm before you order.
Moving to the JLX-30
The measuring principle is unchanged. What the JLX-30 adds is stored readings with statistics on screen, temperature correction, an adjustable alarm set point, an internal calibration check, and timestamped CSV export through the app.
If your leather moisture readings feed a batch record or a customer specification, that export is the practical reason to move.

Carpet Cleaners Warehouse is the exclusive Australian distributor for Delmhorst outside the agricultural sector. Service, calibration questions and warranty claims are handled here rather than sent overseas, and we hold electrodes and pins in stock.
Two year warranty on manufacturing defects. This does not exclude, restrict or modify your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
