Important: the NA0820 gun is listed by US distributors as the Spraying Systems GunJet AA23H. The Series 31 valve is a different Spraying Systems valve with its own repair parts. We are confirming the Series 31 fitment with our supplier — if you are rebuilding a Series 31 valve, contact us before ordering.
What the kit is for
This is the stem and seal kit (distributor description: Kit Stem & Seal). It restores the sealing parts of the gun — the parts that wear — so a gun that drips or weeps can go back into service without replacing the body. The exact contents are not published; Spraying Systems' own repair kit for the AA23H is described as a valve seat, main stem assembly, cup packing and main spring.
Rebuild rather than replace
A spray gun that drips has a failed seal, not a failed body. The kit and ten minutes on the bench restores it.
Individual parts: the shut-off disk — which is the usual culprit. The lock nut and the brass nut are Series 31 valve parts.
If you are rebuilding often, look upstream
Seals fail early because of grit. Repeated rebuilds are telling you about your solution filtration rather than about the gun.
Rebuild tips
- Relieve pressure in the sprayer and remove the gun.
- Note the order of the parts as they come out — a phone photo is enough.
- Clean the bore and seat faces. Grit on a new seal will cut it within days.
- Fit the new parts in the same order and check for drips at working pressure before going back on a job.
Frequently Asked Questions
My gun drips when the trigger is released — is this the fix?
Usually. A drip at the tip is the shut-off disk or stem seal. If only the disk is worn, the NA0822 shut-off disk on its own may be enough.
Does it include Viton seals?
